As a kid, Stephen Iwerebon loved going on family vacations.
He was never afraid to fly and never got impatient during long road trips and car rides. He would always keep himself busy looking out the window to see what new things he could find. He would often bring a pen and notepad with him as well in case anything he saw on his trip inspired him to write a new song or poem.
Some of his favorite vacations he took with his family include Disney World, The Grand Canyon, Hershey Park, Aruba, and Niagara Falls. He even enjoyed taking trips to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell and other historical sites. Stephen Iwerebon has always been fascinated by History and learning new things.
As a college student, Stephen Iwerebon is greatly interested in applying for a study abroad program. Study abroad is an amazing opportunity to travel and see the world while also learning about different people, cultures and even language. Stephen is planning to study abroad his junior year. His top choices include: Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
After college, Stephen Iwerebon plans to take a few months or maybe even a whole year to travel and backpack across Europe. In particular, Stephen would like to walk the Camino de Santiago, a large network of pilgrim trails and routes dating back to the beginning of the 9th century that lead to the famous Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. The Camino de Santiago stretches for hundreds of miles across areas in France, Spain, and beyond. It is a great opportunity to take time and reflect upon your life, step away from technology, and meet people from all around the world.
Other places on Stephen’s travel bucket list include:
-California
-Mexico
-Amsterdam
-Copenhagen
-Australia
-Thailand
